What is the difference between an NFT and a Digital Collectible?

The Difference between a Non Fungible Token (NFT) and a Digital Collectible (DC) lies in the one-of-one nature of the NFT. Whereas a DC is one of numerous identical replicas of the same digital item. 

Technically, DCs are unique in the sense that they are individually serialized; but in practical terms, they are more like one copy from a limited release set.
